164 notifications since 1 January 2020 named an undeclared allergen, under 1% of all EU notifications in that time. 31 in the 365 days to 8 November 2026, against 16 in the 365 days before, up 94%. 3% were border rejections and 80% had a serious risk decision.
The origins named most often were France (20), the Netherlands (15) and Germany (14). The product categories named most often were prepared dishes and snacks (33), cereals and bakery products (26) and other and mixed food products (17). The products named most often were biscuits (10), food supplements (8) and sauces (8).
