Food Alert Atlas is run by CognitionSync, run by Asif Ejaz in Lahore, Pakistan. This page says what the site stores about you, why, for how long, and how to have it removed.
What the forms store
When you sign up we store the email address you type, the company name if you give one, the products and countries of origin you pick, whether you chose the free digest or the same day plan (and the price shown), and the date and time. Nothing else is asked for and no payment details exist anywhere on this site.
Why, and on what legal basis
Only to send what you signed up for: the weekly digest, or a message when the same day plan opens. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form (Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation). You can withdraw it at any time with the form below.
How long
Until you remove your email, or until the digest or the plan is dropped, when the list is deleted.
Who sees it
Only us. The list is not shared, sold or rented to anyone, and it is not used for advertising. It is kept in a database on a server we rent; we are based in Pakistan, outside the EU, and by signing up you agree to your email being held and used there for this purpose only.
Cookies, tracking and counting visits
The site sets no cookies, has no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts. To know roughly how many people visit, the page counts each visitor once per day: the server keeps the address of today's visitors in memory only to avoid counting twice, never writes it down, and forgets it at the end of the day or when the server restarts. Like most web servers, ours may also keep standard access logs (address, page and time) for security and fault finding.
The pages load the Inter and JetBrains Mono fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them and Google receives your address as part of that request.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted, and withdraw your consent. If you are in the EU you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country. The quickest way to delete is the form below; for anything else, write to us through cognitionsync.com.
Remove my email
Type the address you signed up with. Every entry for it, on every list, is deleted at once. You get the same answer whether or not it was on a list.
