Open Book is part of CognitionSync, run by Asif Ejaz in Lahore, Pakistan. The only personal data it keeps is what you type into its forms: your email address, the choices you made, and the date. Here is what happens to it, and how to remove it.
What do the forms store?
The free form stores your email address, the role and company you picked if you picked them, and the date and time you sent it. The Reviewed rounds form stores the same, plus the price shown to you. Nothing else: no name, no address, no payment details. The Reviewed rounds plan does not exist yet and takes no payment.
Why is it stored?
Only to tell you about what you signed up for: an email when a new practice round is published, or a message if the Reviewed rounds plan opens. The role and company choices are counted, without your email, to decide which rounds to write next.
On what basis?
Your consent, given when you send the form. You can withdraw it at any time with the form at the bottom of this page.
How long is it kept?
Until you remove it, or until the list it belongs to is dropped, whichever comes first. If the Reviewed rounds plan is not built, that list is deleted.
Is it shared or sold?
No. It is not shared, sold or rented to anyone, and it is not used for advertising. It is kept in a small database on the server that runs this site.
What about cookies and tracking?
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts. Each page counts one visit per address per day so that signups can be read against visitors. The counter stores only the day and a number. To count an address once, the server keeps a scrambled, one way form of it in memory for the current day; it is never written to disk. Like most web servers, the server that hosts this site may keep standard access logs. The transcript stats tool reads your file in your browser and never sends it anywhere.
How do you remove your email?
Enter it below. It is removed from every list here. The answer is the same whether or not the address was on a list, so nobody can use this form to find out who signed up.
