Society Check

Before you pay anything

  1. Open the source link on the result and confirm the entry on the authority's own site. Lists change, and this copy was taken on 13 Oct 2026.
  2. Match the city and the location, not only the name. The same name is approved in one city and illegal in another.
  3. An approved scheme can have an illegal extension or phase. Ask which block and phase your plot is in, and check that part.
  4. Approval of the layout is not permission to sell. Ask for the NOC and for the approved layout plan showing your plot number.
  5. Check that the plot is not one of the plots mortgaged to the authority, which cannot be sold until released.
  6. Verify land ownership through the land record office, and have a lawyer read the papers before any payment.

What is covered, and what is not

Not in these lists

DHA and cantonment schemes, Peshawar and the rest of KP, Hyderabad, Sialkot, cooperative society registrars, and schemes approved by tehsil or district councils. The Multan illegal list is a scanned Urdu document and is not included yet. One row of the Quetta approved list is cut off in the authority's own scan and could not be read.

Not found is not a clearance

If a scheme does not appear, it may be outside these authorities, spelt differently, or never registered at all. An unregistered scheme is the riskiest kind.

How the status is shown

The coloured label is a grouping made for this page. The quoted line under it is the authority's own wording, which is what counts. Records read from scanned lists are marked, and all 467 of them were checked against the scans row by row.

This page repeats public notices of government authorities and adds no finding of its own. It is not legal advice. If a record here differs from the authority's site, the authority's site is right. Corrections: write to CognitionSync.
