SiteLog is a one person site diary for small contractors, foremen and subcontractors. Fill in one page a day for each job with the weather, the crews on site and their hours, what was delivered, any delays, visitors, safety notes and photos. Send it as a daily PDF report before you leave site.

How it works

SiteLog in 6 steps

Real screens from the app, filled with example data.

  1. One diary page for each day
    1

One diary page for each day

Pick the project and the day and the page saves as you type. The top shows workers, labour hours, deliveries and delays at a glance. In the example, Friday had 8 workers and 64 labour hours.

  2. Log each crew and its hours
    2

Log each crew and its hours

Add a line for each trade or subcontractor with the workers and hours each, and the app works out the labour hours. Copy the crew from the day before in one tap.

  3. Add site photos with captions
    3

    Add site photos with captions

Take photos or pick them from your gallery and give each one a caption. The time each photo was added is kept and printed in the report.

  4. See the whole week at once
    4

See the whole week at once

The week adds up every day from Monday to Sunday for the project. In the example, the week came to 279 labour hours over 5 days, with 4.5 hours lost to delays.

  5. Send a daily report before you leave
    5

Send a daily report before you leave

The daily report puts your company on top, then the weather, the labour table, deliveries, delays, visitors, notes and photos, with a line to sign. Share it as a PDF.

  6. Share a weekly summary too

    Share a weekly summary too

The week summary lists each day with its weather, workers, labour hours, deliveries and delay hours. Below it, every delay is listed with its cause and what happened.

This is the real app running in your browser, with nothing to install. Tap around, type your own numbers and see what you get. What you enter stays in this browser.

Reminders work only in the phone app.

What it does

Everything in one place

One page per day

Pick the project and the day and start typing. The page saves as you go, so a quick note from the truck counts. Move to any day with the date arrows.

Crew and labour hours

Add a line for each trade or subcontractor with the number of workers and the hours each. The app works out the labour hours for every line and the day. Copy yesterday's crew in one tap when the same trades are on site.

Deliveries and delays

Log what arrived, from which supplier and how much. Record each delay with its cause, the hours lost and what happened, so lost time is on paper when it matters.

Weather, visitors and safety

Type the weather you see on site, who visited or inspected, and toolbox talks or incidents. The diary records what you saw, not a forecast.

Site photos with captions

Take photos or pick them from your gallery, add a caption, and the report prints each one with the time it was added.

Daily and weekly reports

Share a daily site report as a PDF with your company name on top and a line to sign. The week view adds up labour hours, deliveries and delay hours from Monday to Sunday and makes a week summary PDF.
