Schengen Days keeps your trips to the Schengen area and counts them the way the rule is written: 90 days in any 180 day period, with the entry day and the exit day both counted. It shows the days you have used today, the days you have left, and whether a trip you are planning fits.

How it works

Schengen Days in 6 steps

Real screens from the app, filled with example data.

  1. See your days used and left
    1

See your days used and left

Save each stay with its entry and exit day, and the app counts the 180 days ending today with both end days included. In the example, 68 of 90 days are used and 22 are left.

  2. See the whole window at a glance
    2

See the whole window at a glance

A bar shows the last 180 days with your time in the area, planned days and today. Each trip lists the days it adds. In the example, Rome and Florence adds 26 days.

  3. Keep every trip in one list
    3

Keep every trip in one list

Past, current and planned trips are grouped, each with its dates and day count. Example trips carry a label, so you never mix them up with your own.

  4. Check a trip as you enter it
    4

Check a trip as you enter it

Change the entry or exit day and the app counts the days and checks the rule straight away. In the example, the trip counts 26 days and stays within the rule.

  5. Test a future trip before booking
    5

Test a future trip before booking

Type the dates of a trip you are thinking about. The planner checks every day of it and every trip you planned after it. In the example, a 41 day trip would push Vienna and Salzburg to 91 days.

  6. Find the first start date that fits
    6

Find the first start date that fits

Choose how long you want to stay and the app finds the earliest start that keeps every saved trip within the rule. In the example, a 40 day stay first fits after the Vienna trip.

What it does

Everything in one place

Days used and Days left

The Today screen counts every day you spent in the area in the 180 days ending today, from the trips you saved. A day with an exit and a new entry counts once, and overlapping trips are never counted twice.

A timeline of your window

A bar shows the whole 180 day window, with the days you were in the area, the days you planned, and today. Below it you see how many days each trip adds.

Know your last legal day

When you are in the area, the app works out the last day you may stay, as old days drop out of the window while you stay. It warns you when a planned exit day comes too late.

Check a future trip

Type the entry and exit days of a trip you are thinking about. The planner checks every day of it, and every trip you planned after it, so it also tells you when a new trip would break one you already booked.

Find the earliest start

Choose how many days you want to stay and the app finds the first start date that fits with all your saved trips.

Any date, any window

Pick any date, past or future, and see the days used and left in the 180 days ending on it.

A reminder before the limit

Turn on one reminder, 3, 7 or 14 days before your last legal day, so you leave in time.

Private by design

No account and no sign in. Your trips stay on your phone. Schengen Days is an independent planning aid, not legal advice. Border guards decide at the border, and some permits, visas and agreements follow other rules, so check important trips with the official EU calculator.
