   Check today's gold rate with its source

   See the Sarafa gold rate per tola and per 10 grams for 24, 22 and 21 karat. Every figure shows its source and date, and an Old tag warns you when no newer figure has been published.

   Compare open market buying and selling rates

   Before you change money at a counter, see what an exchange company pays you and what it charges for the dollar, riyal, dirham, pound and euro. The interbank mid rate is shown below for comparison.

   کاؤنٹر پر پیسے تبدیل کرنے سے پہلے دیکھیں کہ ایکسچینج کمپنی ڈالر، ریال، درہم، پاؤنڈ اور یورو کے بدلے کتنے روپے دیتی ہے اور کتنے لیتی ہے۔ موازنے کے لیے نیچے انٹربینک درمیانی ریٹ بھی موجود ہے۔

   Convert foreign currency to rupees and back

   Type an amount, pick the currency and choose the buying, selling or interbank rate. In the example, 500 US dollars at the buying rate comes to Rs 139,030. When a rate is old, a note asks you to confirm it at the counter.

   Know what your gold is worth

   Enter a gold weight in tola, grams, masha or ratti and see it as tola, masha and ratti. Pick the karat to see its value at the Sarafa rate. In the example, 2 tola 6 masha of 22 karat is worth Rs 1,009,790.

   جانیں آپ کے سونے کی قیمت کتنی ہے

   تولہ، گرام، ماشہ یا رتی میں سونے کا وزن لکھیں اور اسے تولہ، ماشہ اور رتی میں دیکھیں۔ قیراط چنیں تو صرافہ ریٹ پر اس کی قیمت سامنے آ جاتی ہے۔ مثال میں 22 قیراط کے 2 تولہ 6 ماشہ سونے کی قیمت 1,009,790 روپے ہے۔

   Work out the Zakat you owe

   Add cash, bank balance, gold and silver by weight and money owed to you, then take off debts due now. Choose the silver or gold nisab and see the Zakat due at 2.5 percent. It is a calculator, not a religious ruling.

   اپنی واجب زکوٰۃ کا حساب لگائیں

   نقد رقم، بینک بیلنس، وزن کے حساب سے سونا اور چاندی، اور وہ رقم جو آپ کو واپس ملنی ہے درج کریں، پھر فوری واجب الادا قرض منہا کریں۔ چاندی یا سونے کا نصاب چنیں اور ڈھائی فیصد کے حساب سے زکوٰۃ دیکھیں۔ یہ صرف حساب کا آلہ ہے، شرعی فتویٰ نہیں۔

   Hear when a rate hits your level

   Pick a rate, choose above or below and set your level. The app checks your alerts each time the rates refresh and tells you when one is reached. In the example, 24 karat gold went above a Rs 435,000 alert.
