Fridge, freezer and pantry list sorted by what to use first. Count your waste.
Early access. The app works in your browser today; the Android app follows when enough people ask for it.

Pantry First keeps one simple list of the food in your fridge, freezer and cupboards, sorted so whatever runs out of time first is at the top. Mark things used or wasted as they go, and see how much food you throw away each week. No account and no sign in.
How it works
Real screens from the app, filled with example data.

One list of your fridge, freezer and pantry, sorted by date with the soonest at the top. In the example, 1 item is past its date and 1 should be used today.

Type a name, pick where it goes and choose a date. For raw chicken the app offers the FoodSafety.gov chart time. In the example, that is 1 to 2 days in the fridge.

Move an item from the fridge to the freezer and the date follows the chart. In the example, chicken thighs frozen today get 9 months.

Mark each item used or wasted as it leaves the list. The Waste tab counts this week from Monday, with the share wasted and what it cost.

Each week shows what was used and wasted, with the money from the costs you typed. In the example, last week 3 items were wasted, worth $7.48.
Try it now
This is the real app running in your browser, with nothing to install. Tap around, type your own numbers and see what you get. What you enter stays in this browser.
Reminders work only in the phone app.
What it does
Every item shows how many days it has left, and anything past its date or due today stands out. Filter by fridge, freezer or pantry with one tap.
Type a name, pick where it goes and choose a date from the pack or a quick pick such as 3 days, 1 week or 3 months. Things you buy often come back as one tap Add again buttons.
For raw meat, poultry, fish, eggs, deli meat, soups and leftovers, Quick add offers the time from the FoodSafety.gov cold food storage chart and uses the short end of its range.
Change an item from the fridge to the freezer and Pantry First suggests a new date from the chart, so the chicken you froze today is not flagged tomorrow.
When something leaves the list, tap Used or Wasted. Made a mistake? Undo puts it back.
See this week's used and wasted items, the share wasted and the money it cost, plus the last four weeks side by side.
Turn on a reminder at 9 am the day before an item's date, so nothing is forgotten at the back of the fridge.
Your list and log are stored only on this device. Try the example kitchen first, then clear it in one tap.
Made around one job, not a big business suite.
Use it on site, in the shop or on the road.
Everything stays on your device. No account.
