Weekly gas meter readings with a month forecast, bill estimate and slab warning.
Early access. The app works in your browser today; the Android app follows when enough people ask for it.

Gas Meter Watch helps SNGPL and SSGC households see this month's gas bill before it arrives. Copy a few details from your last bill, read the meter once a week, and the app forecasts your use for the month, estimates the bill by slab and warns you before you cross into a costlier slab. It works in English and Urdu, offline, with everything kept on your phone.
How it works
Real screens from the app, filled with example data.

Your readings give a projected use and an estimated bill before it arrives. In the example, the home is heading for 97 m³ and about Rs 5,870, against Rs 1,950 if it stays under 0.9 hm3.

Gas charges, fixed charge, meter rent and GST are shown separately, with the slab rule used. Arrears and adjustments are not included, so it is always labelled an estimate.

Read the meter once a week and see your use per day between readings. In the example, use was about 3.3 m³ a day in the first two weeks and 3.1 m³ in the last.

Pick protected or non protected, type the gas used and see the estimate with the slab rule. In the example, 75 m³ for a protected home comes to about Rs 1,730.

The protected and non protected rates per MMBTU come from the OGRA notification dated 29 June 2025, with the fixed charge for each category listed below them.

Type your November to February use from old bills to see whether the average keeps you protected. In the example, the average is 0.85 hm3, so the home is protected.

What it does
Each reading updates your use per day since the last bill reading. The app multiplies that pace by the days in a billing month, so you see where the month is heading in cubic metres and hm3.
The estimate follows the domestic slabs in the OGRA notification dated 29 June 2025, with one preceding slab benefit, the fixed charge, meter rent and GST at 18 percent. Every line of the estimate is shown.
When your pace will take the month past a slab line, Gas Meter Watch tells you the likely day, how much more the bill would be, and the most you can use each day to stay under.
For protected homes, going above 0.9 hm3 in a month means non protected rates. The app warns you early, because this is the line that costs the most to cross.
The readings list shows your use per day between each pair of readings, so you can see when the heater or geyser pushed it up.
See every protected and non protected rate, estimate a bill for any amount of gas, and check whether your winter months make you protected.
Arrears, late payment surcharge and other adjustments are not included, and tariffs and the gas heat value change, so the app always labels its numbers as estimates.
