Passport, visa, permit, licence and insurance expiry alerts for your family.

Early access. The app works in your browser today; the Android app follows when enough people ask for it.

Document Expiry keeps the expiry dates of everyone in your family in one place: passports, visas, residence permits, ID cards, driving licences, work permits and insurance. It tells you when to start renewing and reminds you before anything runs out. It stores only the last four characters of each number and never any images.

How it works

Document Expiry in 6 steps

Real screens from the app, filled with example data.

  1. See which documents need attention
    1

    See which documents need attention

Expired documents and the ones to renew now come first, with the time left for each. In the example, 1 document has expired, 3 should be renewed now and 4 expire in 90 days.

  2. Know what runs out next
    2

    Know what runs out next

Everything else is listed by expiry date with the time left in days, months or years. In the example, Sara's driving licence expires in 45 days and renewal starts Tue 3 Nov.

  3. Keep each person's documents together
    3

    Keep each person's documents together

Open a family member to see all their documents, with only the last four characters of each number. In the example, Sara has a residence permit, a driving licence and a passport.

  4. Know when to start renewing
    4

    Know when to start renewing

Each document shows its status, the time left, the day to start renewing and the reminders still to come. In the example, the residence permit expires in 26 days and renewing started Sun 16 Aug.

  5. Check documents before a trip
    5

    Check documents before a trip

Enter when a trip ends and the months of validity asked for, and see which passports and permits fall short. In the example, Lina's passport expires 168 days too early.

  6. Set your own renewal lead times
    6

Set your own renewal lead times

Choose how many days before expiry to start renewing each type of document, and which reminders before expiry you want. In the example, passports start at 120 days.

This is the real app running in your browser, with nothing to install. Tap around, type your own numbers and see what you get. What you enter stays in this browser.

Reminders work only in the phone app.

What it does

Everything in one place

The whole family in one list

Add yourself, a partner, children or parents, then each of their documents with its type, the issuing country and the expiry date.

A timeline of what runs out next

Expired documents and the ones to renew now come first, then everything else by date, with the time left in days, months or years.

Renewal lead times per type

Set how many days before expiry you want to start renewing each kind of document. The app shows Renew now from that day, so slow renewals do not catch you out.

Reminders at 90, 30 and 7 days

Get a reminder 90, 30 and 7 days before each expiry and on the day to start renewing. Turn any of the three off if you do not need it.

Trip check

Enter the day a trip ends and how many months of validity your destination asks for, and see which passports, visas and permits are valid long enough.

Private by design

Only names, types, dates and the last four characters of each number are kept, on your phone. No photos, no scans and no full numbers. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Built for your work

Made around one job, not a big business suite.

Works offline

Use it on site, in the shop or on the road.

Your records stay yours

Everything stays on your device. No account.
