Number your moving boxes, list what is inside, find anything, print labels.
Early access. The app works in your browser today; the Android app follows when enough people ask for it.

BoxMap turns a pile of moving boxes into something you can search. Number each box as you pack it, say which room it goes to, list what is inside and take a photo before you tape it. On moving day print big, colour coded labels. After the move, type kettle and the app tells you it is in box 1, kitchen.
How it works
Real screens from the app, filled with example data.

Each box shows its number, room colour, contents and warnings. Tick it when you unpack. In the example, 5 of 14 boxes are unpacked two days after the move.

Type what you are looking for and the app shows which box holds it and the room it went to. In the example, the kettle is in box 1, kitchen.

Give the box its number and room, list what is inside one line at a time and take a photo of the open box. Search finds any word you type.

Each room has its own colour for the labels and a bar that fills as you unpack. In the example, the kitchen is at 2 of 4.

Each label carries the box number in huge type and the room name in its colour. Warnings such as fragile or open first stand out in a box of their own.

Print two large or four smaller labels a page, for every box, one room or only those still packed. Cut along the dashed lines and tape them on.
Try it now
This is the real app running in your browser, with nothing to install. Tap around, type your own numbers and see what you get. What you enter stays in this browser.
Reminders work only in the phone app.
What it does
Each new box gets the next number. Pick the room it goes to and list the contents, one thing per line, with an optional photo of the open box.
Search any word in any box: passports, chargers, the kettle. The answer shows the box number, the room and the matching lines.
Flag the boxes that need care and the ones with the things you need on the first night.
Add the rooms of the new home. Each gets a colour so movers can match labels to doors.
A PDF sheet with two large or four smaller labels a page: the box number in huge type, the room name, the warnings and the new address. Contents stay off the label unless you turn them on.
Tick boxes as you unpack and see how far along each room is.
No account and no upload. Your box list stays on your phone.
BoxMap is free while we test it.
Made around one job, not a big business suite.
Use it on site, in the shop or on the road.
Everything stays on your device. No account.
