Boat Care Log keeps your boat's engine hours and maintenance in one place. Launch, retrieve and season checklists keep the routine from slipping.

How it works

Boat Care Log in 6 steps

Real screens from the app, filled with example data.

  1. Engine hours and what is due
    1

Engine hours and what is due

Each engine's hour meter sits at the top, with every job sorted by urgency below. In the example, the main outboard is at 214.5 hours and the kicker's oil change is overdue.

  2. Hours or months, whichever comes first
    2

Hours or months, whichever comes first

Engine jobs count down by hours and months, and trailer or hull jobs by months. In the example, the engine oil has 7.5 hours left and the trailer bearings are due in 15 days.

  3. Log an outing in seconds
    3

    Log an outing in seconds

Type the hour meter reading when you are back and the hours run are worked out for you. In the example, the main outboard ran 3.4 h and the kicker was not used.

  4. Every outing and service in one place
    4

Every outing and service in one place

History keeps outings and services together, with this season's outings, hours run per engine and service spend. Example outings and costs are labelled as made up.

  5. Run the launch checklist at the ramp

Run the launch checklist at the ramp

Drain plug, bilge, lights, safety gear and straps, ticked off one by one. In the example, 6 of 11 launch steps are done. Edit the steps to match your boat.

What it does

Everything in one place

Engine hours from every outing

Type the hour meter reading when you are back and the app works out the hours run on that outing. Twin engines, a kicker or a generator each keep their own meter.

Hours or months, whichever first

Each engine job counts down by engine hours or months from the last time it was done, and the tightest limit decides. Jobs on the hull, gear and trailer go by months.

Mark done in one tap

Tap Mark done, check the date and hour meter, add the cost and the countdown starts again from there.

Launch and retrieve checklists

Tick through the drain plug, bilge, lights, safety gear and straps at the ramp, and the flush and rinse when you pull out. Edit the steps to match your boat.

Winterise and spring

Season checklists for laying up and for getting back on the water. Each completed run is saved to your history with its date.

History and season totals

Outings and services sit in one list, with this season's outings, hours run per engine and service spend.
