Bijli tells you what this month's electricity bill will be before it arrives, warns you before you cross the 200 unit line, and checks a bill you already have against the NEPRA tariff and the Consumer Service Manual.

   See this month's bill before it arrives

   Copy four details from your last bill once, then add a meter reading every few days. Bijli projects your units and charges on the next reading date. In the example it warns you early that you are heading over 200 units.

   Catch overcharges on a bill you have

   Enter the readings, units billed and reading period from your bill. Bijli checks them against the official NEPRA rules and rates and shows the likely overcharge in rupees. In the example it finds two problems worth Rs 4,773 before taxes.

   Bijli writes a complaint letter to your SDO in English or Urdu, with the facts from your bill and the NEPRA clause that applies. Copy or share it, fill in the blanks, sign it and keep a stamped copy.

   Track load shedding with one tap

   Tap once when the power goes and once when it returns. Bijli adds up the cuts and the hours without power this month. Add your area's published schedule to get a reminder just before each cut.

   Estimate your gas bill too

   Choose SNGPL or SSGC and the category printed on your bill, then enter two meter readings. Bijli estimates the bill with the OGRA slabs, the fixed charge, meter rent and GST.
