Log the prices of the groceries you buy and see how your basket changes weekly.
Early access. The app works in your browser today; the Android app follows when enough people ask for it.

My Basket keeps a simple record of what your usual groceries cost. Add the 10 to 20 things you buy every week, note their prices at your shop, and see your basket total this week against last week, each item's price history and which shop was cheapest. It works in English and Urdu and keeps everything on your phone.
How it works
Real screens from the app, filled with example data.

Your usual groceries, priced at your own shops, against last week. In the example, the basket is Rs 7,264 this week, up 1.4% on last week. The prices are clearly marked as examples.

Each item shows your usual amount, its price and what it costs you this week, with a tag when it moved. In the example, eggs went up 4.6% to Rs 345 a dozen.

Six weeks of basket totals, then your shops side by side for the last 30 days. In the example, the Sunday bazaar was the cheapest for 4 items.

Pick the shop and the day, then type what each item costs per unit. Your last price shows under every item, so a weekly check is quick.

Open an item to see its first, latest, lowest and highest price and each entry by shop. In the example, chicken went from Rs 620 to Rs 670, up 8.1%.

Keep the 10 to 20 things you buy every week with their usual amounts. Each one shows its latest price and the shop that was cheapest lately.

This is the real app running in your browser, with nothing to install. Tap around, type your own numbers and see what you get. What you enter stays in this browser.
Reminders work only in the phone app.
What it does
Add flour, rice, oil, milk, eggs or anything else you buy, with its unit and how much you usually buy in a week. The basket total is each price times your usual amount.
See the total for this week and last week, the change in rupees and percent, and which items went up or down. The comparison only uses items priced in both weeks, so it is fair.
Open an item to see each price you noted, with the date and shop, plus the lowest, the highest and the change since your first price.
Note prices at more than one shop and see which one was cheapest for each item over the last 30 days, and how your whole basket compares.
Pick the shop and the day, then type the prices you paid. Your last price shows under each item, so a weekly check takes a minute.
My Basket does not include any official or government price list and is not a government app. Every price is one you typed.
